But for the past few years looking at math problems.. it's like a rain man thing happens. My vocabulary is more available. When I forget why I entered a room I can overcome that blank brain feeling and bring my purpose to mind pretty quick. I easily can find lost stuff by deduction.

Interesting about your skills after a few. (I quit at 30 yo.) People are different but it seems everyone has an inclination to alter their consciousness. That's why little kids spin around to get dizzy, I guess.

A few. I attribute it to lessening performance anxiety and the tunnel vision effect. In pool or hitting a baseball, you have a narrow tunnel of vision to focus on and are less distracted by peripheral vision noise. More than a few and the slop and slower reactions kick in. Playing in outfield it was not a plus. Running bases a plus, since let’s say when tagging up, you are normally too cautious and with a few, you go for ones (and 95% make) you might not have tried.
