The DB article was about a teacher in a classroom. It’s not suggesting that teacher was the one who propped open the door.
I don’t know whether that teacher propped open a door. Maybe or maybe not. My comment was meant to show how quickly it all happened. The classroom teacher received an email, and when she went to the door to lock it, the killer was already there.
My complaint is that the school seemed to be communicating to teachers via email/text. Don’t schools use PA systems, anymore? Alarms? Did teachers have to check their phones to know a killer was in the building? So many questions.

I agree about the crazy email communication process they used.
