We sent in over 1000 aircraft sorties on the first night of DS. But that was 1991, and GPS guided bombs and missiles were the exception, not the norm. Lots of iron bombs and TV guided munitions then. Quite a few tomahawks (inertial with image terminal guidance) but I dont know if the count reached 2000 over the course of the war. Those were expensive not necessarily as good as a good bunker buster, depending on the target.
What this war has shown is that Putin may have stand-off weapons, but he doesnt really know how to employ them to achieve a decisive victory. It also shows that he cant achieve air superiority/supremacy against a military 1/10 the size of the russian military.
The Orc VKF is used as flying artillery, very little CAS. Most missiles are launched from inside Russia.
