That’s because “they” aren’t going to let the little people have private transportation at all (neither gasoline nor electric-powered). Those luxuries will be reserved for the elite. We peons will bike, walk, or take public transportation (electric buses). Why do you think with all the talk of electric cars and funding for electric “infrastructure” those charging stations are only appearing in major cities near government buildings?
They plan to make you move into the city in order to have more control over your movements.

He should sign a executive order TODAY mandating ALL Federal Employee's exclusively use Public Mass Transportation to and from their respective workplace and BAN ALL Modes of Transportation that use an Internal Combustion Engines that burns any type pf fossil fuel from ALL Taxpayer Owned or Operated Parking Facilities.
