First Lady Jill Biden staged a media photo-op with pallets of baby formula on Wednesday, as store shelves remain empty.
“I’ve always said that food is love, but food is life too,” the First Lady said, appearing with the U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy.

They could have just gone across the border in Texas and bought some. Their shelves are fully stocked apparently. Would have been a lot cheaper.

They blamed it on the postal ser ice. Seems a 28 page document got lost in the mail in December.
This formula shipment is for NGOs like FEMA and not for commercial distribution. If you’re waiting for baby formula, you’re out of luck.

yesterday I read that the overseas shipment was about 1/2 million baby bottle worths. Gee, that small amount is nothing. Biden, DR. JILL, should just shut up.
This POS admin shut down the plant that manufactures baby formula. Now we have shortages. And poof, they come in to rescue the day by importing product from overseas.

The plane needed to stop and refuel before continuing its journey to deliver the formula to Ukraine
Which could have easily have been split up and fit into belly freight on some of the hundreds of flights a day from Europe to the US. It wouldn't have made the nice photo op of the C-17 though.
I doubt they will be putting them on grocery store shelves.
