Sounds like the instant polling didn’t come back as they were hoping....No, he told everybody...he doesn't have the R votes to pass a bill, period.
He knew when he started spouting his BS that he didn't have the R votes to pass a bill.
Posturing and grandstanding is all Upchuck has.

I don’t like political jokes. They get elected. I saw Obama win TWICE.

But on Wednesday the Hill reported that Schumer informed his Democrat colleagues a gun control vote will have to wait because there are not enough Republican votes to get anything passed. This is a flat-out lie. The whole purpose of Schumer’s grandstanding is to hold a vote just to score political points. If he’s refusing to schedule a vote, it’s because he’s afraid of how badly it will play for DEMOCRATS.

This is simply a losing issue for the Democrats. In the past, they used to snooker people with cute phrasing or acronyms, but not on guns. The gun issue totally frustrates them. That's why you see their blue-check army on Twitter lash out, because they can't do anything legislatively about guns.
Even the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, used to be called Handgun Control, Inc but they changed both their mission statement and name after the public rejected them.

The Mid-Terms are too close for them to vote on it, and they obviously don’t have the votes to pass it now because too many of their Senators are facing tough elections this year.

My cousin bought one of those 25+ years ago. I remember shooting it out back around Christmas at my grandparent’s farm. I swear it seemed like bullets were exiting the barrel at about a 20 degree random angle.

Sinema and Kelly don’t talk about gun control in Arizona. Kelly is an infamous gun grabber, but it’s an election year.
