The president of the NAACP on Tuesday called on lawmakers to take legislative action on gun rights in the wake of a shooting that killed 18 children in Texas, saying “Don’t just post a tweet, pass a bill.”
“There’s no statement. There are no words. I’m shattered for the community and frustrated by the lack of action by the government that should be working for the people,” NAACP President Derrick Johnson said in a statement on Tuesday.
Johnson also said lawmakers must act immediately.

I agree, this shooting should encourage us to pass a bill requiring mentally ill fags and transexuals to get mental health treatment for their derangement before they become monsters that kill children
And exactly what would be in that Bill?
Since when do Dems care a rat’s ass about human life?
NAACP surely acts like a hate group.
Shouldn’t he be concerning himself with the colored people he claims to represent? 🤪
He wants to ban trannys? Ok.
More orchestrated nonsense.
The 2nd Amendment will always be the law of the land. The NAACP needs to worry about their own lawless communities that shoot each other up daily.
Focus on the criminals.
They have to say something - the economy is in a shambles. Biden has killed more babies than the students in that school today with his breastfeed formula shortage. Inflation is skyrocketing, people are unemployed and 80% of the populace thinks the Biden administration is going in the wrong direction.
Here’s the perfect story to wipe the slate clean and change the narrative - just in time for the summer congressional session.
“You should hear this crazy wigger on Facebook......screaming and raving”
I think I’ll spare my self the agony, but I thank you for enduring it for me.
No more new “Hispanics” in the US?
THAT kinda Bill?
.
You know what the Media calls today’s events?
An Officer-involved shooting.
A little consistency, please.
Are we not supposed to hate the Cops now?
.
Exactly
Once again, no one seems to be upset with the murderer who carried out this act of evil. You'd hardly know a murderer existed based on these statements.
We must "pass legislation immediately"...that would have done absolutely nothing to to have stopped this evil act given the facts of this case we know so far.
Nalcp.
“We must “pass legislation immediately””
Ban ‘Rats.
We have laws on the books.
The shooter posted firearm images to a stranger on Instagram (I thing) and she wanted to know why. She saw it as a threat against her.
If you threaten someone with murder that is a felony, especially if you have the weapons to do so. That would have ended it had it been reported.
Not blaming the person he was messaging, just that it could have turned out differently.
