Sadly, Trump was president during Parkland, Fla shooting where 17 were killed. I respect your point, though. Trump didn’t knee jerk and blame guns, or especially use it to gain political points.Trump banned bump stocks after the Las Vegas shooting. The first new gun control signed into law since Clinton was president.

The bump stock ban was not a new law signed by anyone. It was a “rule change” by the DoJ and has been declared null and void by the 6th Circus Fed. Appeals Court.
