Horrendous, but it’ll be “a teachable moment”. Never let a crisis go to waste. Even if “they” didn’t instigate this, they WILL use it for gun control issues.

There are around 400 million guns in this country, and who knows how many lunatics. Those numbers alone should be intuitive and logical to anyone that individuals bear primary responsibility for protecting themselves and their families. And the Second Amendment, thankfully, makes self-defense possible.
