GOP Sen. Marshall: U.S.-Mexico Border ‘Looks Like a War Zone’

This week on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) called on President Joe Biden to visit the U.S.-Mexico border as the White House pushes to lift Title 42.

Marshall, who was visiting the border, described the scene as a “war zone every night.” He said it was an “unsustainable crisis.”

“Maria, this is a human tragedy here,” Marshall emphasized. “At nighttime, it looks like a war zone. There’s a sea of humanitarian crises here every evening. And every day, it’s lived out as well. And I want to just shout out to the Border Patrol officers. They are doing an incredible job, the Department of Public Safety here in Texas. All of those people are doing their best, but they’re just simply overwhelmed. This is an unsustainable crisis. It’s a war zone every night. I’m calling on Joe Biden to come down here and see this for himself. And I don’t mean do a flyby stop at the airport here in McAllen. He needs to come down; spend some time on the river.”

He continued, “He needs to fish people out of this Rio Grande River behind me after they have traveled thousands of miles. He needs to go up the interstate here 60 miles and pick up people that have been traveling for two or three days without water in the desert here as well. He needs to go with those farmers and ranchers who are finding dead bodies on their ranches now. Most every day now, they’re finding dead bodies.”

Butt, baby formula and $40 buhzillion for ukraine. And not a lot of folks cares much about the invasion currently underway. Seems like someone needs a lesson or three.

In a war zone, there is a battle and either one side or the other is trying to win. The Mexican border is a no-win situation for the U.S., which the Biden administration surrendered to the invading illegal aliens. The U.S. is losing, and there is no battle.

Maybe Amnesty Senators Cornyn, Tillis, Grahamnesty, Hoeven and Rubio should stop singing the siren song of amnesty.....

Donald Trump’s fence would have prevented 90% of this. His full fence. Meaning fences erected in all the most crossed places in the border. The US-Mexico border is 1,954 mi. ______________ IIRC 1300 miles of fences would seal it effectively.

This has been bipartisan policy for 30 years, except for Trump.

The border has remained open because BOTH parties want it that way.

So much so that they colluded to cheat Trump out to keep him from restoring the rule of law.

Actions of the Biden team at the border are absolutely disgusting. Putting aside the destruction to our country, they’re luring these people here and don’t care who gets raped, or killed along the way.

I WISH it looked like a war zone, rather than like a massive enemy invasion, totally unopposed by the invaded country.

Was Senator Marshall leading the charge for making sure the November 2020 election was legitimate? I don’t remember seeing him on tv or hearing about his actions in that regard. Must have missed something. Must have been napping.

These effin’ idiots want to take ZERO blame for contributing to this mess. All they want to do is feign outrage when they all had and have the ability to do something.

Pure insanity that the people of Texas are forced to vote for Cornyn, know that he’s doing this all while his state is being destroyed by all the illegals.

Memo to Senator Marshall
Try living here, it IS a war zone.
We do not leave our homes unarmed.

When you look at his policies of denying asylum, cutting refugees every year after the courts said he couldn’t stop funding the resettlement companies, canceling family reunification and letting the world know that they’re not coming into the US like they’ve been allowed to in the past, did as much to stop the flow as the wall did.

And I’m willing to bet some serious money, if I had it, that he was lining up some type of challenge to the Birthright Citizenship nonsense that we’ve been dealing with for decades. Take that away and your 90% turns into 99.999999% in a day.

There would be zero reason for any of them to come here if they knew their kids wouldn’t get citizenship at birth.

Why no drone coverage of the invading hordes? If there was ANY video documenting a bunch of people streaming across the river or thru the desert it would go a long way to showing hoiw bad things are.

But to most its an abstract thing.

Yup. Still astounded there isn’t more of an outcry. But, I probably shouldn’t be should I.

... which the Biden administration surrendered to the invading illegal aliens.

To put a sharper point on it, Team Biden has knowingly with intent not only permitted the invasion but has encouraged the invasion by offering enticements.

There can be no rationalization for incurring the cost of open borders for American taxpayers. It can, however, be accurately viewed as a continuation of Obama's community reorganization - an attempt to wash away our national culture.

When will our party in opposition confront the threat for what it is?

Not a war zone

No one is shooting at or bombing the invading forces and for now, they are not shooting or bombing either.

Basically it’s just a Democrat rally

"Still astounded there isn’t more of an outcry."

I and my family experienced this first hand when Navy. My first activism stemmed from illegal aliens using our side gate on a cul-de-sac while living in San Diego just 3 miles from TJ. Many nights they would wake up my children and scare them. Can't remember how many times I ran out with my PR-24 (to chase them off.

I've been sounding the warning since the late 80's. I was once a dues paying member of FAIR when few saw the building invasion. Thank you for your efforts regarding this USA destroying issue.
