Oh please. I specifically discounted the specific claims of the article. 10 weeks is about the time the transition from last years food supply to this years becomes prominent. That’s where that time-frame comes from.

If there is famine, most likely we will be outbidding the rest of the world for any excess. That said, there’s a lot less planting this year than last.
