A CHILD is in intensive care with monkeypox as doctors warn of rising transmission.
The youngster is among the 20 confirmed cases of the disease in the UK. The Telegraph reports that the child is currently being treated in a hospital in London.
UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) confirmed the 20 UK cases with nine other countries outside of Central and West Africa also reporting outbreaks.
Dr Susan Hopkins, a chief medical adviser for UKHSA, said updated figures for the weekend will be released on Monday, May 23, as she warned of more cases "on a daily basis".

Here we go with the hysteria.
Thanks gays.
I wonder what’s after monkeypox? My bet is a swine flu or avian flu.
Ok sure this kids parents wouldn’t call it hysteria especially if they got it from school. Being a minor the UK like the USA won’t release any personal details of the case.
Yup,,,
How many ‘dads’ does this poor kid have?
And what was the child’s daddy doing in recent days? Enquiring wives would certainly DEMAND to know.
Somebody is sure pushing this monkeypox thing.
For the record, if they reported every child killed while commuting to public schools in the US alone, we’d have an average of one reported death every single school day.
Oh the avian flu is already causing havoc in the USA.

From my fellow scientists at the USGS.
H5N1 is the real deal it has a 50+% CFR fortunately it doesn’t jump from person to person well. The Colorado guy was working on a chicken farm.
“I am certain that this child is not a participant in the gay sex fetish community.”
_______________
How can you be so sure?
The child is not a consenting adult and therefore might not be a WILLING participant, granted, but...
Wow. Intensive care. Hope the child recovers.
And wondering could the press be calling a 17 yo a child?
The child may have come into contact with an item contaminated by such a person. For example a household item such as a washcloth or other benign item. The sick person wipes his hands on the cloth and the child picks it up. I am not suggesting any sexual contact. Just that the initial infection arose from such.
Monkey pox is a cousin to smallpox which was such a scourge that humans went on a century long warpath against it. If it takes hold in major cities it will be the modern day smallpox. Scientists warned years ago that killing off smallpox would allow monkey pox to evolve to take it’s place. They even said we should have never stopped giving the smallpox vaccine since it kept monkey pox, cow pox, and camel pox at bay.

I’m sorry for the child but the health oligarchs and the media will use this to scare the crap out of everyone.
Avoid children...
Okaaaaay....
Double life transmission was very common during the AIDS epidemic. Guys living double lives bringing HIV home to wife happened a lot still does. It’s entirely possible daddy is a closet type and kid got it via just hugging daddy or sharing a towel or cup. Like I said the privacy laws in the UK won’t let them release where this child was exposed even if they find out which they will it’s early in the transmission chain contact tracing is still very possible and mandatory at this phase if any hope of stopping global event is hoped for the window will close fast by the fifth or six generation of cases containment is a fleeting possibility. Mass smallpox vaccine distribution would be the next step once containment is lost just like with smallpox in the 20th century.
The UK has midterms?
Monkeypox kills kids disproportionately higher than adults, plus kids scratch, touch, lick, and put their grubby little hands everywhere they are walking vectors gross little buggers the lot of them.
Anyone with even a passing contact with a known case should be quarantined real quarantine before they spread this crap all over the world.
