One of the most patriotic Americans I have met in recent memory is a lady born in Vietnam. “This is MY country! Don’t mess with MY country!” She has been a citizen here since the 70’s.
I wish this gentleman the best. May he win by a landslide!
He’s the GOP candidate OK military service isn’t inherently bad but it isn’t inherently good either.

Ranked choice is a rigging system to allow moderates to win and exclude those considered extreme IMHO.

It’s a big factor in the Region - not so much in Loudoun. Only a very thin sliver of Fairfax County (home of TJ) is on the 10th.
BUT - to Loudoun, Fairfax is like our Nation’s California. What happens there, seeps across the border (”move-ins”) and pollutes our culture - so, we are keeping an eye on Fairfax County.

Hung was distributing a challenge coin that said “Your Congressman is Hung.” This didn’t set well with a lot of people.
There is a double meaning, however. As I understand it, the word “hung” (in Vietnamese) means “brave”. Hung told me this when I told him the coin “didn’t set well with me.” LOL

You are 100% right about Rigged Choice Voting, but if they want to use it in a primary like this, it’s not as bad as using it in a general election.
actually ranked choice is MUCH harder to “engineer” a result than first-past-post.
This is because you always get the candidate that appeals to MOST of the voters.
Ranked choice is especially important in contests with MANY choices.....
The deep state likes first-past-post. Read up on it.
Public elections are another matter.....

But the irony is that most of the loser $h!+heads in Northern Virginia will vote against the minority because, in their minds, “Republicans are racist.”
