It should not be up to one single privately owned business to manufacture baby formula. I would have thought the military had such facilities already up and running.

The children that got sick did not have the same viral or bacterial DNA that was found in the factory.

“He was forced to say that..”

Obviously. He has nothing to be sorry about. It’s the FDA who needs to apologize.

A news report said that the Air Force flew a large quantity of material from Germany that is used to make formula. It seemed like an impressive amount, but since it was a number in a vacuum, I had some questions that I have not seen in the headline news:

How much supply is that? One day, one year?

How long before that material shows up on the shelf at American grocery stores?

Why didn't the company do that earlier? After all, Abbott is a big name and should have resources available to solve the problem on their own.

Does that one flight end the crisis?

Why am I not moved to believe any word out of his mouth?

>> He was forced to say that..

Indeed.

The supply chain is critical mass to the manufacturers.

The coincidental oopsies across America’s productivity is beyond stupid.

And those pulling the strings... lol. History says their ambitions terminate wanting.

The fact that this problem arose from a factory closing shows that the real problem is a monopoly. There should be 20 small plants not one big plant and more companies competing

It’s waste to make more than needed.
