The Demoncrat Nominee, Josh Shapiro, is despised outside of Phila and Pittsburgh. This will be a nasty, nasty race. Shapiro will pull all sorts of fraudulent processes while Mastriano will campaign hard and long to appeal to all of the p-o’ed Pennsylvanians of which there are millions..

I voted for Mastriano because he is vocal about banning mail in voting and also loudly calls the 2020 election for the fraud that it is.

I’m sure he’ll find a way to disappoint me down the line but for now it’s enough.

When i left the republican party nationally 2008-2016 this article is why.

President Trump had his second term stolen after receiving nearly 12 million more votes and the State republican parties assisted in the key states.

We know the game. This is not about winning or losing for the establishment and it is not up to Trump, but us….

Maybe our form of government needs to be changed...vote for a Convention of States? When we can’t trust our own government and they no longer care what we think or want, it’s time for us to change things for them. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will ever vote our way out of the hole our government is digging for us. The Deep State is just too deep and strong. When I write my Senator or Congressman and I either do not get a reply or I get some canned letter (or email) about how they are “doing everything they can for the people, so donate to my campaign or give to the RNC”, I will never vote for them. Our politicians in DC could care less about us, the people they are suppose to represent.

Andy Reilly, a Republican National Committee member

See that? Republican National Committee member. Does everyone know how Reilly became one? You begin as a precinct committeeman or woman. There is one of each in every precinct. That is your neighborhood. It's easy to get on the ballot, you just need some signatures. I don't recall how many, but it is not much. I was one in my old neighborhood. I basically walked down the street one Saturday afternoon and collected signatures. Once on the ballot, you more than likely run unopposed. About half of precincts don't have a committeeman or woman. You'll have to attend a few meetings during the year. That's the starting place. Once precinct committeeman or woman, you get to vote on county, state and national representatives. That is how MAGA takes over the GOP.

Dan Shultz has a website for how to take the Republican Party back from the bottom up. Precinct Strategy

I agree 1000% I wasn’t overly impressed with Mastriano’s 2020 performance, and I thoroughly supported Barletta, but if the PAGOP is against Mastriano, that’s reason enough for me to like him!

“The Republicans insiders who opposed Mastriano did so on the grounds that polling suggested he would struggle in a general election. Some say his presence in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, & penchant for controversy — like attending a conference last month that promoted QAnon — will make it harder for Republicans to focus the fall campaign on issues like inflation.”

The ads against Mastriano will be that he went to DC on Jan. 6. Democrats are obsessed with this.

No, I think Mastriano will get his ass kicked on merit.

1. You have a guy with all of three years in the state senate, from a district that hasn't been represented by a Democrat since 1940. The idea that a candidate like this is going to have broad statewide appeal is delusional.

2. One of his campaign promises is to "work with the General Assembly to eliminate 'No-Excuse' Mail-in voting and Ballot Drop boxes." This is right from his campaign website. These idiotic voting processes are only used today because Mastriano himself voted for them as a state senator in 2019.

Read #2 again and see if you come to the same conclusion I did. That campaign promise isn't a reason to vote for Mastriano as governor. It's a reason why he never should have been elected to the PA Senate in the first place.

I don’t think merit will have much relevance. Likely he should lose on merit but algorithms don’t consider merit.
