Fewer and fewer Americans are saying the United States is on the right track or that the economy is in good shape as inflation soars, according to a new poll.
A recent survey done by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Research found that just 21% of adults believe the US is going in the right direction, down from 29% in April.
Even Democrats are losing hope – with only 33% saying the US is headed in the right direction compared to 49% a month ago and 55% in March.

2 in 10 is significant. At least 33% of Americans are hardcore, blind followers of the left. That means the base is leaking support. Granted, many of those who see the country as being on the wrong track would never, ever vote anything but Dem. They just want a new flavor of the crap they like to eat.

The welfare recipients and the NGO's involved in providing government assistance. Government workers are immune to difficulty too. They just vote raises, etc. It's good to be king.

Agreed. But, with such high numbers saying the country is on the wrong track, it’s a pretty fair bet the prized “independents” aren’t too happy with the party in charge right now.
They really need to stop polling shut-ins and the criminally insane for these polls. ;)
The 21% would be the store employees here in Missouri who still wear masks when they are not required to or who wear them while alone in their cars.
As long as RINO-traitors control the state legislatures, Democrats will have no fear of the Mid-Terms or 2024.
