House Speaker Nancy Pelosi acknowledged there are 'challenges' for Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections but said that her party has every intention of holding on to power.
'I have no intention of the Democrats not winning the House this November,' the California Democrat told reporters on Thursday morning. 'People really want us to win,' she added.
'There are challenges,' Pelosi acknowledged, blaming new strains of Covid-19 and 'other factors' that had log jammed the supply chain and lead to 40 year-high inflation, running at 8.3 percent as of April.

Maybe she is in “pep rally” mode, to fire up the base? Nancy is many things, but she’s got some political knowledge, to have become Speaker of the House. Maybe she’s in denial, publicly anyway.

"That's a good thing," Biden responds and begins rambling on once more.
After a long pause, the cowboy, in his best Texas drawl says, "Hard to fool them flies, though."
