There is an ongoing, vicious effort by a maniacal dictator to rewrite the map of Europe. Some American voices are saying "stay out – what happens there doesn’t matter to us."
It all sounds too familiar. The last time this happened, it led to World War II. This time, the brave people of Ukraine and their incredible military are more than holding their own against Russian President Vladimir Putin's efforts to destroy Ukraine as an independent, sovereign democratic nation.
The brutal invasion of Russia has devastated the Ukrainian economy, and Ukraine is unable to continue this fight without military aid. This Ukrainian victory over Russia would be priceless for the United States, because if Putin is not defeated in Ukraine he will continue to rewrite the map of Europe – his words, not mine.

Providing state-of-the-art weapons for the Ukrainian military helps the American economy by keeping the defense supply chain open and running. This type of military assistance will create jobs in America.
Congress has an opportunity to supply Ukraine with $40 billion worth of weapons and economic and humanitarian aid. Over half of this package would replenish U.S. weapons stocks and provide military weaponry to the Ukrainian forces who have shown an ability to use everything America has given them with amazing effectiveness. It is possible, in my view, for Ukraine to defeat the Russian army militarily.

This is nothing like what happened in WWII.
These RINOs are intent on starting WWIII though.
Graham, you support it because you are Deep State’s creature.
This sounds more like an opportunity to dump weapon technology into a former Soviet state to have it later turned over to the Russians when Vlad decides to use the tactical nuc option to get the unconditional surrender.
The rats and some GOP and their lobbyists are making money THROUGH DEFENCE CONTRACTS AND LAUNDERING There is no accountability, all Rand Paul was asking for and was made out to be a Putin stooge.

Absolutely not. The only way would be for to actively join the war against Russia with boots on the ground, then against China and then against Iran and then North Korea on and on and on.
Idiotic.
So why do they need 40 BILLION?
After the other BILLIONS we sent them?
what else is crammed into the bill that makes it so must pass?
Why does the USA have to fund the entire 40 billion? Let Europe (they are the most affected by Ukraine), especially wealthy Germany, France, UK, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, and Netherlands pay the bulk of it. The USA (we taxpayers) have already paid enough.
Otherwise bring all the Ukrainians to the USA in exchange for ALL the illegal bums living here now. /spit
“Graham, you support it because you are Deep State’s creature.”
Creature is right. He’s a not-so-secret, closted-sodomite.
America has always been the arsenal of democracy?

Good old Lindsey, greatest military mind since Eisenhower. Not bad after a 6-year career as a JAG lawyer.
FWIW, I don’t care who the guy bangs as long as it’s a consenting adult and not a national security issue.
But whatever Deep State has on this coward, I seriously doubt it has anything to do with consenting adults who are loyal to our former republic.
The only way I can lose is if I’m caught in bed with either a dead girl or a live boy.

This is great. We have our very own military industrial complex cheerleader here on FR. After twenty years of destroying Iraq and Afghanistan to make the Middle East safe for Raytheon, they take the show to Eastern Europe. And who the heck is borrowing the money to pay for these weapons? You think the Ukrainians or our deadbeat NATO pals are?! Borrowing the money to pi$$ away in Ukraine has the same effect as borrowing $20B a month to waste on the scamdemic.
The real issue is whose ideological agenda is going to prevail. To see how phony the “independence” and “sovereignty” arguments are here, we need only ask who would be raising them if Putin was the one pushing socialism, eco-dictatorship, and LGBTQ and Zelensky was acting like Trump or Bolsonaro.
These are Linda’s words, not mine.
“FWIW, I don’t care who the guy bangs as long as it’s a consenting adult...”
That was my attitude towards queers once, tooz when they said they just wanted to be left alone and “what happens in the bedroom should stay in the bedroom”. But not any longer since now they not only want to make they perversion part of our all of our lives but now they public ally want to groom, prey upon and recruit our children into their insanity.
Sorry, but the queers have replaced the Communists: The only good queer is a dead queer.
