Russia does not have a super laser weapon

Rest assured Putin has top scientists on it. TOP SCIENTISTS!

You don’t understand the amount of energy needed to produce a destructive beam. Atmospheric effects alone say no

Given that Glorious Russian Scientists have overcome everything else that needs to be overcome, where do they get the chips for producing it?

Pipe dream

Slavyangrad - Gleb Bazov
1:20
Judging from the interview given by Abkhaz, commander of the Pyatnashka Battalion of the DNR People’s Militia, to Rudenko, Avdeevka has become the new Azovstal to replace the old and broken one.

The Ukrainian garrison at Avdeevka has been blockaded in the town, unable to exit or even conduct artillery strikes. As soon as they attempt to take firing positions, counter-battery fire forces them back.

Abkhaz also remarked on the wisdom of the Allied military command, which resists emotions and the impulse to achieve showy results through the blood of the Allied soldiers. Rather than wasting personnel for medical victories, operations are planned carefully and with regard to preserving soldiers’ lives.

[GB: This corresponds to the Russian tactics in Donbass, where artillery, missile strikes, and air strikes are used to comprehensively rout the Ukrainian resistance before any forward advance by armoured groups or infantry is attempted.]

I would venture to predict that the fall of Avdeevka is not far away.

Ok, this makes more sense than the Vrubovka claims of yesterday.

Kamyshevakha Update: The Russian army has launched an assault on the settlement of Kamyshevakha, in the Popasnaya district of the LNR.

The suburbs and the first streets from the northeast direction have already been liberated, according to military correspondent of iz.ru, Denis Kulaga.

As reported earlier, the front line in the Kharkov region, next to the Russian border, is rapidly being evened out by the Allied forces, with the re-liberations of Ternovo and Rubezhnoye.

Zaluzhny continues to fight for his men. Whatever we may think of him, this is worthy of respect.

Severodonetsk Cauldron Update:

The supply of the Ukrainian grouping in Severodonetsk has been cut off—the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has asked for permission to withdraw the troops.

Zaluzhny reported to Zelensky about the beginning of street fighting in the next few days in Severodonetsk and asked the president to give the green light to the withdrawal of troops from the city so as not to repeat the fate of Azovstal.

Meanwhile, Rossiya has not been able to even get proper tyres for their trucks!
It's the same for both sides!

“As reported earlier, the front line in the Kharkov region, next to the Russian border, is rapidly being evened out by the Allied forces,”

Hilarious. So being “rapidly being evened out” is how the Russian news describes their defeat and forced retreat from that front.

Asked if such weapons were being used in Ukraine, Borisov said: “Yes. The first prototypes are already being used there.”

He’s referring to several prototyped tanks which were destroyed (a T-80 variant and the T-80M - the latest model). A few days ago saw the introduction of the BMPT Terminator 2 - a T-72 hull with a fancy new turret, in search of a use, other than searching out a Carl-Gustaf or a Javelin.

No, I think you might have misread that since you “inadvertently” left out the rest of the sentence...:-)

“with the re-liberations of Ternovo and Rubezhnoye.”

“rapidly being evened out” means Ukraine had previously gained control of those settlements (Ternovo and Rubezhnoye) and now, as stated in that post, “with the re-liberations of Ternovo and Rubezhnoye” “the front line in the Kharkov region is rapidly being evened out by the Allied forces.”

This pretty much tells us that UFO/UAPs seen by our Naval vessels, pilots, etc. haven’t been developed by our Russian adversaries.;-)

Or the Chinese, since they copy Russian weapons.

No doubt both of them are mounted on some tracked vehicles and make wonderful targets. Artillery will eat them for lunch.

Russian troops are moving slowly but surely. They take care of the personnel and try to destroy the enemy with artillery, missiles and aircraft

Taking care like losing almost 500 men and >70 vehicles in a single river crossing? Ah, the fabulous Orc propaganda machine is beginning to sound very Soviet.

Sure they mention two villages they still hold and don’t mention the 50 they have lost in the area in the last few days as that front collapsed.

I’d also add that Russia is still limiting the scale of the war and not using all its weapons. I’ve not heard of a single bomber being used, much less shot down. I’ve also not heard of them using MLRS systems to attack strong points from 150+ kilometers away. They have these capabilities and are not using them. They also have anti-radiation capabilities such that they could easily take out anti-aircraft systems based on radar. They have tons of capability that they have not used for whatever reason. Russia is holding back in many respects.

The will of the Russian People and their armed forces to defend Russia from the cruel and unprovoked, unjustified, unsustainable invasion by barbaric, soul-less Ukrainian monsters will inevitably triumph as the defenders of Stalingrad persevered despite the loss of hundreds of thousands of troops and civilians.

The Ukrainians know deep in their hearts that their immoral conquest of a peaceful neighbor cannot succeed.

Oh, wait...

Russia - hypersonic missiles

Hypersonic missiles — whether in the form of a scramjet powered cruise missile or a hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV) — are not actually particularly new technology, despite what the propagandists might want you to believe. Let’s talk about the Avangard hypersonic glide vehicle. “Hypersonic” sounds like it’s really fast, but in fact many missiles in common use are already hypersonic, including functionally all ICBMs in existence today. What an HGV does is allows a re-entry vehicle to glide and maneuver at hypersonic speeds, on a flat trajectory, more like a plane, than a missile.

A state that has the capability to supply the raw materials, manufacture all of the components, and then deploy such a weapon could probably make use of them.

Russia does not have that capability - they just dig stuff out of the ground.

They are extremely hard to direct to a target. Not too bad for hitting large objects like big buildings that don’t move, much less useful for targets that are small or move around (like blue-ocean warships).

Remember, the nose of a hypersonic missile is a tough place to put any kind of sensors, let alone sensitive radar or optical sensors. The nosecones get incredibly hot due to the speed, and there is very little space there due to the necessary shape.

The same issues also make it very hard to send direction to the missile from a control platform. Too much interference and a hostile environment for antennas.

— Net. Net we can see Russia’s war machine in ukraine and it sux

I am not sure where you are getting your info from. It certainly doesn’t match what I have been reading from 25 different sites (both Russian and Ukraine.)

But, I would love to have your info. Could you tell me the 50 villages they lost in the last few days? I have been watching the various maps daily (and would even post them if I knew how to post pictures) but none of them have shown any collapse of the front except that Kharkov one that we just discussed that has now been straightened out.

I understand that some people are very disappointed. But, objective actual information (and not comic book memes) are very clear...so far this military conflict has been totally one sided. The Ukrainians try to hold defenses; the Russians try to advance and defeat those defenses.

It is slow because Ukranian defenses are very well fortified in the Donbass...they began constructing them 8 years ago during their battles with the separatists; some are even of concrete and all of them are well dug in. But, Russia is progressing at the rate of several km a day.

Zelensky has told his people that he will constitute a million man force and get the heavy weapons from US/NATO in July and then go on the attack; but that right now they are just trying to defend.

People can make up their own minds about the liklihood of that. But, currently he is losing more than 15,000 troops a month and his 4 star general in charge of the whole thing has been begging him to let the general pull back the troops in severodonetsk because they are being encircled and he fears a repeat of Azovstal. So far, Zelensky says no.

The Brits are due to grow at +3.7% in 2022.

Russia’s economy is due to CONTRACT by 7.8% i.e. -7.8%

So no, the British economy isn’t quite collapsing.

Scotland may get its independence from England, but that matter is open.

As FLT-bird will confirm, I was pro-Scottish independence and still am. However, the polls that were talking of a slight edge in January 2022 for independence may change now. Why change? Because of Putin and the threat he embodies.

Scotland if it gets independence will be temporarily out of NATO, out of the EU etc.

They’re not going to vote for independence under current global conditions. May be things will change when Putin is defeated, but we’ll need to re-evaluate them then.

And back to the British economy - my prediction in 2021 was that it would tank. However, with the change in circumstances due to Putin’s invasion, I need to re-look at that. There are too many changing variables
