They simple cannot concede that possibility. For the past 55 years, blacks have voted DemocRat, therefore, they believe that all blacks must be leftists, despite much evidence to the contrary.
They also believe that blacks are inherently incapable of competing with other races, thus the many programs that give preferential treatment to minorities.
It’s the soft bigotry of low expectations.
