Is he getting a Watchman?? A friend of mine is a candidate.
I had a Watchman installed.
No blood thinners other than an 81mg aspirin a day.
With blood thinner meds it is hard to stop bleeding from a normal cut.
I bit the tip of my tongue, 11 hours later still bleeding.
Off to emergency care for a couple of stitches. My tongue didn’t like that at all.
Called the cardiologist the next day and scheduled the procedure.
I recommend anyone with afib to get it.
That would be a better choice for A-fib.
