Isn’t any gun - along with numerous other implements - a potential ‘assault weapon’?
The phrase seems meaningless.
by assault they mean ‘weapons of war’ - they have been trying to get them banned claiming that they are weapons of war- which they are not-
An assault rifle is a fully auto rifle- dianne fienstein and ilk have tried to redefine it to include any semi auto with certain features-
