President Joe Biden is subsidizing businesses with 35,000 more foreign H-2B visa workers to hire for non-agricultural jobs in the United States, even as nearly 12 million Americans remain jobless.
On Monday, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced that the administration would begin allowing businesses to hire up to 35,000 additional foreign H-2B visa workers for nonagricultural jobs in construction, hospitality, and landscaping.

Wage/productivity gap and various “get rich quick schemes” (Worshiping compound interest/low wages in exchange for high productivity with fiat paper) that create economic bubbles ended that so their is no incentive for a person to be a wage slave at $20 an hour even.
There are no short-cuts (All about those shareholders' value which is diminishing at present/interest) at all. Nurturing civilization is very tricky and the reason why an underground economy is emerging/grifters mimicking DC grifters because our current civilization is not being well managed at all.
I was living in Silicon Valley when Carly Forina started this nonsense at HP.
We had friends tell us they either had to leave TODAY or spend next 6 months training in their replacements from India.
It then spread to nearly every SV company in CA.
Now those people are in management positions and only hire from India.
IBM is one of the very few companies who hasn’t done this.
