Just before 2 p.m., the tone shifted when protests began. The first came as about three dozen sign-carrying protesters marched to the center’s entrance chanting, “No KKK, no fascist USA, no Trump” and “Our bodies, our choice,” a reference to the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion suggesting an end to a woman’s right to terminate a pregnancy.

A short time later about 100 more demonstrators clogged one of the main streets outside the convention center, again with the focus on abortion rights.

Chants included, “Trump, Trump, go away. Come again no other day” and “Racist Texas, anti-gay; Donald Trump, go away.”

My comments: a whole 3 dozen in the first demonstration and about 100 clogging one main street. Clogging is probably an apt description of this “crowd”, sort of like an overflowing toilet.

I throughly enjoyed watching this event, used Jane's CSpan link, than you both for sharing. Trump looks great and he stays pretty much to the script with his stories built in. And even although we've all heard it all many times, it's still a strong and compelling speech. He covers a lot of topics, first time I heard him on Ultra MAGA and MAGA king (LOL), He really was almost at his best, highly recommend all to watch. 👍

I enjoyed this excellent, MAGA King speech, too.

Pres Trump still has fire in his belly and looks great.

He runs so many circles around the left/Brandon/Fake News … I wish the squish Rs had even a quarter of his fight.

They only “fight” for whatever the left, and their NWO handlers tell them to :-(
