Kathy Barnette, a Republican Senate candidate in Pennsylvania, has a social media history packed with anti-Muslim and anti-LGBTQ sentiments, as well as conspiracy theories about former President Obama.
(snip)
Driving the news: Former President Donald Trump warned Republicans Thursday that Barnette's history will preclude her from winning a general election in Pennsylvania. Trump has endorsed celebrity TV doctor Mehmet Oz in the race.
(snip)
In one of the tweets, Barnette said "pedophilia is a cornerstone of Islam."
(snip)
Worth noting: Barnette talked derogatorily about Muslims, Islam and Obama in speeches as well, CNN reports.

So’s torture, mutilation, murder, slaughter, rape, buggery, destruction, mass death of Infidels etc etc etc. Real fun folks.
Not a troll. A current PA resident who lives in the redder part of the state who sees people recoiling from Barnette and her past.
I only care about winning in November. And I live in the state, unlike most of the commenters here who have no idea what they’re talking about on the subject.
I’ve got no dog in this fight, really. But let the voters of PA pick and choose their candidate. For Sean Parnell to join in attacking Barnette is just pitiful. The Dems used the court system to take him out of the race, so now you basically have a Hollywood liberal, a globalist, and an unknown question mark running. This is just a sad and ugly race. Is there a Constitution or Libertarian canddiate running?
It’s not ok and I can’t stand Omar.
But I don’t live in Minnesota and I don’t care if Omar wins an election.
The only thing on my mind is keeping the PA senate seat red. In order to do so, in a purple state, we need to have a candidate who can win.
Saying things like what Barnette said make that task a lot harder come November.
Parnell was my pick and I think most other conservatives’ pick in PA before he dropped out.
Parnell wants to win the seat. So if he thinks he needs to get involved to do so, he will (and did).
Same way I feel.
Again, I joined the site because I was tired of the Ukraine war propaganda. I had no desire to get in this fight, but I had to once it was laid in front of my doorstep. As someone who lives in PA, there was no other choice.
You are full of shiite.
You claim to live in the red portion of PA, but you also claim to know how the other part will vote.
You do not know that. You are a fraud. Maybe you are paid by Oz or McCormick. I still think you are Conservative98.
It doesn’t matter.
The red portion of PA has out-voted the blue portion in the past....especially in mid-terms. You would know that if you actually lived here.
A solid constitutionalist, like Barnette, can win statewide.
Your entire argument is on “electability” which is a leftist concept.
Do the FLYING MONKEYS dispatched by the Oz campaign communicate with one another while inflight on their anti-Kathy jihad.
Barnett can scarcely be criticized for telling the truth. God bless her.
Great post.
Chuckle.
In a world where Red equals R, it doesn’t really matter. I would rather lose honestly that put in a traitor like Mitch McConnell, Paisley Graham or baby beotch Cheney. Lose honestly, and try next cycle, but NEVER compromise with someone the likes of Oz. He is all in for trannies, friends with Opie, Obambi and is clearly a corruptocrat.
Then he should have ruthlessly handled the child custody issues. And PA wouldn't have to choose between 3 flawed candidates.
Look at how Eric Greitens handled his ex-wife and child issues. He went after Rove and the other RINOs who were exploiting his ex-wife and now the prosecutor is in hot water.
Parnell was a great candidate, but he succumbed to the same old dirty Dem tricks.
“Worth noting: Barnette talked derogatorily about Muslims, Islam and Obama”
What’s the problem here, again?
I’ve lived all over the state. Have you? I’m guessing that’s a big “no”.
I do live in the red part of the state, correct.
Electability isn’t a right or left concept. It’s a reality concept.
I don’t care if you think I’m a fraud. I think you’re a non-PA loudmouth who doesn’t understand the state. That’s ok, that’s your right. Plenty of ill-informed people out there.
I’m not 98 as any moderator who can look at IP addresses could easily see.
Again, this conversation should be kept to people who actually live in, and know, the state.
If someone knows the state better than I do, I’ll wait to see that person here. Haven’t come across that yet.
Just so you know; the “[X] can’t win in November” argument is a favorite among establishment RINO types.
They used that on Trump.
Winning is does us no good if we elect another RINO.
Your “truth” may not be the “truth” of the people voting in the suburbs.
We can all yell “atta’girl” at Kathy now, while we watch the senate slip away in November.
Sorry, I can’t be part of that group.
Again, I know the state and this isn’t going to fly in November. Just can’t see it.
She violated the state religion. She violated the state religion.....
Your entire argument is on “electability” which is a leftist concept.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It’s a favorite Bush League tactic, which they make come true by backing the Democrat and joining in the smearing of the GOP candidate every time we nominate anyone not to Mitch’s liking.
I hear she is a White Supremacist too, and was who inspired Buffalo assassin.
Right, so you’re using the “Hitler liked vegetables so if you like vegetables you’re Hitler” fallacy.
Good work.
Come on, guys. Sure, I’ve read the site for years and have been around the block, but I’m new here.
This is way too easy.
