AUSTIN (KXAN) — The woman shot and killed at an east Austin residence earlier this week was a well-known gravel racer in the cycling world, according to multiple news reports.
On Saturday, the Austin Police Department identified her as Anna Moriah Wilson, 25, who went by “Mo.” Officers said her friend found her bleeding after returning home Wednesday night. Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Near East MLK Ave...hhmmm
I live in the Travis Heights section of Austin. About once a week I hear gunfire at night. I’m looking to move to Gruene or Boerne Texas.
Gravel racing sounded wierd. Waffle-riding?
She was from out of town. Looking to score some substance, maybe? I wonder if “gravel racing” tests for illicit drugs.
Nothing good happens near, on, or around A MLK Nationwide.
I lived in NW Hills near the Arboretum in the 90’s. Also lived in Lakewood off 360 near 2222. Fave restuarant was Romeos and Katz’ Deli. Those places still there?
I would suspect the friend before drugs.
EXACTLY..Don’t go anywhere near MLK ....... don’t walk, live,or drive anywhere near a MLK road, street, blvd etc......
I believe that both are gone. I’ve been trying to find an authentic Jewish deli since I moved here. I miss whitefish salad on a poppy seed bagel and Gabila’s knishes
Katz deli closed more than a decade ago. Tax violations. Used to love the beef bacon at 4 am after a hard night on West 6th
Rejected ex-something or other. Maybe, even the person who found her.
My mother in law loved Katz’ martinis and we’d go there when she visited. They were monstrous
This area has and is being gentrified rapidly this is the location of the shooting those new fancy condos.

Pro tip....Trudys Mexican martinis they only will serve you two and then you are cut off. They have five to six ounces of liquor in a 22 Oz tumbler so good though.
It is good to read the fine print.
Yup,
It’s Good to be The King!
and read it all,
