One would think that would only increase inflation.
I think fuel prices could absolutlely be affected by aggregate demand. Food is not so simple due to fertilizer shortages. Getting a handle on inflation expectations is a big part of crushing inflation.
A long time friend of mine has a student loan balance.
SHE has continued to pay the full payment amount & often extra thru all of COVID.
Larry Summers has been called a lot of things but big dummy isn’t one of them.
