last paragraph of story:

General Budanov also told Sky News defeat in Ukraine would lead to the removal of Russia’s leader and the country’s disintegration.

“It will eventually lead to the change of leadership of the Russian Federation. This process has already been launched and they are moving into that way.”

Does that mean a coup is under way?

“Yes,” he responded.

“They are moving in this way and it is impossible to stop it.”

He claimed Mr Putin is in a “very bad psychological and physical condition and he is very sick”.

Kind of mean of you to post a story like this so early Moscow time. Now the putin fluffers will have to get up early to respond, instead of being able to sleep off the samogol hangover properly.

Maybe. But Russia is known for starting their wars terribly. Eventually, they improve their logistics. They promote their officers who can fight. Their tactics improve. The question is whether Russia will fully mobilize. If so, they can consolidate eastern and southern parts of Ukraine and go on the defensive.
