Both firms she mentioned ARE considered “Wall Street” firms so your Hooterville thing is a no go.

This level of nothingness is demonstration of how little they have on her—but how much money and power is trying to keep her off the ballot in November.

You are out of line! She is deceptive. I just saw the petition she put out in 2020 to put up an Obama Statue.
She’s a club for growth sell out.. that means open borders. Is that what you like about this identity politics racist???

You have no objectivity.

By Freepers who apparently aren’t aware that the sold-out, globalist uniparty stacks faux competition in both primaries and general elections.

Whoa is any regular American candidate who breaks through with support from enough regular voters. These Freepers apparently aren’t aware how much of the media is bought and controlled on both sides, they fall for the propaganda over and over and over again.

ROFLMAO. Uh Huh...I know of an office for one of the ones she worked for that is in a town of less than 5000. But yeah, everyone there works on Wall Street.

I am talking about Barnette. In order to build herself up so that her opinion about Trump would have weight as she slammed him... she puffed up her experience.

Thousands of web pages where the term ON WALL STREET refers to the industry and you still insist your definition is correct.

Here a 30 year expert in the industry uses the term ON WALL STREET- “NET EMPLOYMENT ON WALL STREET” to refer to emplyees in the industry as a whole.

“While it is too early to tell, the fact that net employment on Wall Street has fallen in three of the past five months could foreshadow”

“No longer necessarily so, as much of what you used to have to be “on Wall Street” for can now be done via tech remotely. Even the very fastest trade-beating may be done better at times over the rive in NJ.”

I agree with you that location matters much less today in the financial industry. Covid accelerated the dispersion of workers in that industry. Nevertheless, many “Wall Street” firms are now requiring their employees to return to lower Manhattan offices, albeit in lower numbers than before.

“This level of semantic witch hunting, funded and driven by hard-core leftists and globaliats teying to snooker PA voters is disgusting”

Again, I agree to some extent. I have some sympathy with Barnette, who never envisioned the degree of scrutiny that she would have to endure in the intense spotlight of a Senate candidacy. However, it is also true that she was careless in writing her resume and thoughtless in some of her earlier Tweets. These are the kind of rookie mistakes that come to haunt candidates who try to differentiate themselves from their rivals by embellishing their accomplishments. Having said that, I think that some of the criticisms of her (like the questions about her military service) are over the top and will eventually be found to have been misplaced.

Club for Growth is just trying to stick it to Trump. She hasn’t had to sell out for their funding here.

I don’t just have insults, I have much better understanding than the baseless character assassination that ignorant or shilling Freepers have been serving up these last couple of days.

You are the one rudely and baselessly insulting me.

“She’s a whack job.” I agree. Put her up against a longtime mayor of Braddock, Pa., near Pittsburgh, who’s been lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania for eight years? What are her supporters smoking?

Nobody has vetted her. She’s made anti-gay remarks on social media. She’s gone off the deep end in other tweets. She’s a flake. I initially supported her. She makes a good speech and says all of the right, carefully rehearsed MAGA talking points. So what? She has no record to speak of. She would be killed in the general election. Democrats would eat her for lunch after they do a opposition research on her and the lies and exaggerations start to come to light.

I’m going to vote for Carla Sands who has business and foreign policy experience and has represented the United States in Europe advocating for our trade policies. She revealed this morning on Bannon’s show that for her work the Defense Department gave her an official commendation for meritorious service to the country. This woman has a background that is highly relevant for the Senate position.

John Fetterman has no such background. This is a Senate seat where foreign policy issues and experience are important, especially now. Sands said she worked hard in her ambassador post to fight Russia and China’s economic influence in Europe. Fetterman has nothing to counter that experience.

When Bannon asked her why Trump didn’t back her, she pointed out that Trump and Oz are personal friends and neighbors in Florida and mix socially. She, on the other hand, was Trump’s ambassador, not his friend. She and her husband, now deceased, were major financial backers of Trump’s campaigns so she didn’t just lately support his programs because she wanted to run for the Senate.

I found her to be tough and articulate. She isn’t a product of rape and didn’t grow up on a pig farm in Alabama. That qualifies you to be a United States senator representing Pennsylvania? Please.
