Israeli police beat mourners at journalist’s funeral
Associated Press ^ | May 13, 2022 | JOSEPH KRAUSS

Israeli police on Friday moved in on a crowd of mourners at the funeral of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, beating demonstrators with batons and causing pallbearers to briefly drop the casket.

The crackdown came during a rare show of Palestinian nationalism in east Jerusalem — the part of the holy city that Israel captured in 1967 and that the Palestinians claim as their capital.

Israel says east Jerusalem is part of its capital and has annexed the area in a move that is not internationally recognized. Israel routinely clamps down on any displays of support for Palestinian statehood.

There was also the issue that a mob simply seized the casket against the family’s wishes:

*** You’re apparently unfamiliar with Pallywood Productions ***
Nope, I believed and supported the poor victimized Israelis for years, then I realized that Israel has an excuse for every thing they do that is inhumane to others. Also, that not every video showing them killing someone is a Pallywood Production.

Yep. Instead of a headline saying, “Black armed male felon, wanted for murder, is shot by police officer before he could kill anyone else,” it will say, “Police kill black male.”

Pathetic.

USS Liberty was the fault of many, especially ths criminals in the NSA, who sent the spy ship into a war zone, after Israel has been told there would be no Israeli ships in the area.

The Palestinians killed their own propogandist, refused an investigation and autopsy, because they wanted bloodshed. And they riled up the mob to Jihad. The mob of Palestinians then attacked Israelis and were subdued because of their assault with stones.
Facts matter

‘End Times’ is about justifying ‘Greater Israel’...its a land grab, that’s all.
"Greater Israel" is an admission of mental disease. It is a literal delusion. Israel has been giving up territorysince the late 1970s. It has given up far more territory than it currently controls for peace treaties. The political argument in Israel is under what circumstances it can give up more. There are only 14 members belonging to political parties opposed to giving up land for promises of peace. Realistically, there about as many more believing this in the other parties on the right. That's less than 1/4 of the Knesset. There are 16 members elected to anti-Zionist parties.

AP calls these fascists as "mourners"...

Biden calls for investigation into Abu Akleh death.

I'm waiting for such grand pronouncements and attention for the 23 journalists killed in Ukraine...or do those journalists not matter as much to Biden since there aren't Jews involved?— Emily Schrader - אמילי שריידר (@emilykschrader) May 14, 2022

Bassem Eid @realbassemeid Tweeted (May 13, 2022):

This is a new low… We’ve seen Palestinian extremists like Hamas use women and children as human shields, but today they used the dead body of #ShireenAbuAkleh as a human shield as rioters destroyed neighborhoods in Jerusalem

CHILE: The death of this journalist shot in early May does not interest the anti-Semitic media. Francisca Sandoval, 30, was shot in the head during clashes on the sidelines of May Day protests in Santiago, Chile.

Except the piece it stole from Jordan in 1967, all those "settlements", and the Golan Heights...but ok.
1. Israel gave up the Sinai Peninsula for peace with Egypt and offered Gaza to them.
2. Israel stole nothing from Jordan. Jordan had no legal right to the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and East Jerusalem. It invaded and illegally annexed these areas in 1947-48. In 1967, Israel begged Jordan not to enter the Arab and Communist Jihad against Israel. But they believed Egyptian lies about Arab victory and joined, attacking Israel. Israel defended itself and retook areas Jordan illegally stole. In 1994, the Wadi Araba Treaty was signed ending the war between Jordan and Israel, which began in 1948. Israel gave up some borderlands to Jordan adn water rights for peace.
3. Syria attacked Israel in 1967 and lost. If you accept the Golan as Syrian, then all of Palestine is Jewish.

Spare me the hasbara...Israel is the one without legal rights to the West Bank. Jordan formally annexed the territory in 1948 with the support of the United States

From Wiki

In December 1948 the Secretary of State authorized the US Consul in Amman to advise King Abdullah and the officials of Transjordan that the US accepted the principles contained in the resolutions of the Jericho Conference, and that the US viewed incorporation with Transjordan as the logical disposition of Arab Palestine.[5]

The United States subsequently extended de jure recognition to the Government of Transjordan and the Government of Israel on the same day, 31 January 1949.[6]

The 1950 State Department Country Report on Jordan said that King Abdullah had taken successive steps to incorporate the area of Central Palestine into Jordan and described the Jordanian Parliament resolution concerning the union of Central Palestine with Jordan.

The report said the US had privately advised the British and French Foreign Ministers that it had approved the action, and that "it represented a logical development of the situation which took place as a result of a free expression of the will of the people."[7]

Spare me the hasbara

I'm sorry that truth triggers you. Perhaps you should change your gender, go back to a leftist college and demand a safe place and plush toy.

Perhaps you should read more than just Arabist and third worldist propaganda. Three countries recognized the Jordanian Annexation: Iraq, Pakistan, and the United Kingdom. Despite our State Department being owned by the oil lobby, the US wasn't once of these.
But having accepted Jordan's invasion in 1948 and subsequent annexation as proper, you have no leg on to oppose Israel conquest of this land in a defensive war started by Jordan. Jordan attacked Israel in 1967.
