Yes, we really underestimate the power of $$$ to corrupt men. I don’t see how anyone enters DC and remains unchanged. Maybe a Trump, someone who was already super rich and didn’t need or want their loot?
People who are incorruptible usually have to suffer a lot and get maligned a lot. In Trumpy’s case, it definitely helps that he’s rich.
