I found there are pros and cons both ways. But sometimes I have been in situations at the office where you can’t get very much done because of meetings and distractions.

I do agree with that possibility.

I have family members who do work from home and seem to
be accomplished at it.

I enjoyed working on site for 27 years. I had interaction
with other employees, was able to trouble-shoot problems
on the spot, and just enjoyed the separation of work from
home.

It being a large plant, there were times when I needed to
visit various locations to be effective in the position.

Each job has it’s own dynamics. Some can easily be done
at home. I had an experience and found myself distracted
there.

People are different. The requirements for jobs are also.

I understand where you are coming from.
