First lady Jill Biden met with Slovakian President Zuzana Čaputová on Monday during the last stop on her trip to Eastern Europe to highlight Russia’s invasion into Ukraine.
During their meeting at the presidential palace, Biden and Čaputová discussed support for the Ukrainian people and how the U.S. and Slovakia are joining forces to help.
Biden on Sunday made an unannounced visit to western Ukraine and met with first lady Olena Zelenska to show U.S. support for the embattled nation.

Good question. Even if her husband the resident is a demented fool, she is still not welcomed representing our interests.
Won’t cut and paste, but I will say, President Zuzana Čaputová is a very beautiful woman, look up pix of her, maybe the most beautiful modern day leader with all respects to others. Sure, Melania is probably prettier but not the head-of-state. Beauty in the eye of the beholder, that said, Zuzana is too liberal for me.

Most people with PhD degrees in serious academic fields view advanced degrees in education as a joke. Her dissertation, available to the public at UD, is said to have been written at the level of a high school term paper.

Her only angle is that she is not a member of the Biden administration. But here is where Biden and his cronies error. The Department of State, established in 1789 and the highest-ranking Cabinet department, and one individual, the Secretary of State, who is directly responsible to the President, manage foreign affairs. The traditional functions of the State Department and its professional diplomatic corps, the Foreign Service, include: negotiating on behalf of the U.S. government with foreign governments and in international organizations; defending U.S. position in the world; reporting on and analyzing conditions in foreign countries and institutions such as the UN; representing the American people and current U.S. policies to the world; promoting relations with decision makers abroad; advancing U.S. trade and investment; and protecting U.S. nationals overseas from discriminatory and/or inhumane treatment.
So besides not being qualified to do this work, she cannot represent the US in state decisions or actions. And she is doing it with not only the blessings of the POTUS, but accompanied by all the security personnel and transportation paid for by the taxpayers for her to go over and use her influence of a non-political person to make decisions for the US. It was Woodrow Wilson who was determined to “democratize” diplomacy—to do away with “secret deals” arrived at “behind the backs of the people” in favor of “open covenants openly arrived at.” This borders on the edge of sedition which is defined by Black’s Law Dictionary as:
“An insurrectionary movement tending towards treason, but wanting an overt act; attempts made by meetings or speeches, or by publications, to disturb the tranquility of the state.”

Exactly. It’s one thing for a First Lady to represent our country at a social occasion (funeral, wedding, etc.) or on a “goodwill” visit (visiting refugees or tsunami survivors, etc), and another to take on responsibilities of State like discussing foreign policy with leaders of other countries, especially on foreign soil. Grr.
