I may be wrong, but I think that’s the part he didn’t appreciate enough. He thought he could hire and fire at will like he did with his corporation.

I agree. That was President Tumps only weakness, he kept eavesdroppers,cowans and usurpers in some key positions.
I also would like to know why. It created problems for him whichi he generally overcame.
