All of this brave talk about nuclear war is really due to one thing, consciousness of guilt. The Russians know they are doing a bad thing in Ukraine and they realize that the rest of the world would be technically within their rights to assist Ukraine even more strongly than at present, with an assault on Russia, who have launched a war of aggression that is explicitly sanctioned by international law (not the new world order but the pre-existing world order).

And of course we are under that condition of nuclear blackmail where we cannot safely intervene at that level, in fact we are rolling the dice intervening at the level we have done so far.

I don’t know how this ends, my only reliable guide would be Biblical prophecy which looks very similar to this situation leading up to a final phase which has not happened yet.

“Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great.”

If Ukraine is the “whore of Babylon” and Russia represents the beast on which she rides, then the question becomes this — what is Babylon, of which Ukraine is the whore? Is Babylon some city of the west, or Moscow? In some ways, Ukraine has been a whore of the globalist west. In others, it has taken money from Moscow and up until recently was not an enemy of Russia at all. So we cannot really tell, the fall of Babylon would match Biblical prophecy if any great city were to fall.

The key seems to be that only one city falls, although another passage in the Revelation prophecy does speak of the fall of the cities of the nations. Immediately after the fall of Babylon, Christ returns to the earth. Following that the final stages of the battle(s) of Armageddon bring about the defeat of the beast and the onset of the Kingdom.

We will have to keep watching and praying in these perilous times. It unsettles me to realize that in all the western (NATO) countries, people have largely turned away from if not fully against the word of God. We as individuals may honor that word, but the larger society around us do not. Therefore these societies have no reason to expect mercy or protection, any more than the thug Putin and his criminal gang. Which side is morally worse? It’s a toss up at this point.

Nor is Ukraine a particularly evil country, the ordinary citizens of Ukraine probably deserve this disruption less than many others. They have been presented with murky political choices that range from collaboration with Putin to subservience to the globalist ideology. I don’t know if they had any pure choices in their most recent elections, in Canada I know that the only untainted choice received the support of a massive 5% of the voting public and the semi-tainted alternative 35%. We don’t know the real numbers in America, just the made up globalist numbers which are probably a fiction.

I think God would intervene before this reached any final stage of mutual annihilation. But we would improve our chances by returning to God as national societies, and renounced the demonic works of globalism.
