“Known stealth aircraft as they pass through the radio spectrum leave a detectable ‘hole’ and can be tracked.”
Isn’t it a case of where they’ve been, but not where they are? Anyway, that’s how it was explained to me.
All these brave people on here. Talking about easy it will be living after a full blown nuclear war.
Maybe it is time to reopen a lot of mental institutions and put them in there.
All they have to do is put a couple EMPs over the top of us and watch what happens after in this country.
Rattling a sabre makes noise, drawing one does not. I suspect this comment and others like it are intended to reduce support for Ukraine. Mr. Putin is well aware we have a robust nuclear force as well. As do the French and the U.K.
But Russia’s stock and trade is to try and create rifts within its adversaries. Which is why they have been directly or indirectly interfering in elections, pointing out and exacerbating, in little ways, any dispute within or between the U.S., our allies, and other countries.
Absolutely. The Neocons are convinced that the ‘insane’ Putin is only ‘insane’ to the level THEY choose, which is just short of nuclear weapons...so we’re safe.
Scary as crap when our side agrees with the these Neocons.
Mr. President! Wake up! It’s WWIII! The Russian missiles are flying? Wat?? Where’s the President? Is The President here! You are The President. Haha, good one. Where’s Jill? I need a diaper change. BOOOOOOM! CRAAAASH! Washington is a smoking crater.
This is not a fact that has led to a known countermeasure. The Chinese have claimed they can do so, but no aircraft is radar signature free.
Modern radar systems, of which I worked a few, are computer guided and driven. The radar signals are just radio waves, usually at a very high frequency, but some say a lower frequency radio wave would track a stealth aircraft better, but again, that has not been proved as meaningful enough to actually field such a system. In any case, the radar system computer generally ignores small temporary spectrums returns as they are likely birds, debris or bats.
To send a missile to such a location would cause one to run out of expensive missiles very quickly.
Our F-117 is actually very good at portraying such a radar return. Actually, better than the F-22 or F-35. Earlier this year, the USAF took some of these F-117s OUT of mothballs.
I wonder why?
Still, do understand that in a combat run, the radar operators would see blips. Stealth doesn't mean completely invisible, and never did. The ability to successfully track, lock on, and shoot down a stealth fighter is a quantum leap harder than non-stealth aircraft.
I wonder, even if the former/current communist powers have such systems, whether graft and corruption would also mean they're operating substandardly?
THAT has exactly been my position over time.
I don’t condone one country invading and conquering another, but I thought it wasn’t our fight.
I’m not in a position to stop the Biden admin’s support of the Ukraine, but if Trump was still president, I think he’d do the same.
Threatening me and my people with nuclear death and destruction due to Biden’s arms shipments doesn’t win me over to Russia’s side. It just makes Russia my enemy again.
And those who protest NATO's overall spending of only about 3% of its GDP are opposing Trump. For contrary to being a Putin puppet as the Left prevaricates - and who were blaming him in Feb. 2020 for this invasion, and contrary to you - the Trump,
July 11, 2018 U.S. President Donald Trump told NATO leaders on Wednesday they should increase their defense spending to 4 percent of their country’s economic output, double the group’s current goal of two percent/4/3/19..nearly all 29 NATO members have increased their defense spending since Trump came to office, and at least 16 of the 29 are on track to meet their 2024 defense spending goals. Defense spending among 27 NATO allies has increased consistently between 2016 and 2018, with Hungary, Norway, Romania and Turkey making some of the biggest increases.
October 21, 2020 NATO spending has increased for the sixth consecutive year thanks to new contributions from allies, Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said in prepared remarks Wednesday...Canada and European countries' spending increased this year at a rate of 4.3 percent...Russia and China's aggressive behavior during Trump's term is one reason for the allies' increased spending.
this administration has been much tougher on Russia than any in the post-Cold War era," said Daniel Vajdich, senior fellow at the Atlantic Council....
Take military spending: Trump sought to add $1.4 billion for fiscal year 2018 to the European Deterrence Initiative — a military effort to deter Russian aggression that was initially known as the European Reassurance Initiative. That's a 41 percent increase from the last year of the Obama administration. The president also agreed to send lethal weapons to Ukraine — a step that Obama resisted. And Trump gave U.S. forces in Syria more leeway to engage with Russian troops.
"Those loosened rules of engagement have resulted in direct military clashes with Russian militants and mercenaries on the ground, actually resulting in one incident in hundreds of casualties on the Russian side," Vajdich said.
The administration has also imposed sanctions on dozens of Russian oligarchs and government officials...
And from from 12/26/17 there is
Trump Sends Tank-Killing Missile To Fight Russia in Ukraine, But What Can It Do? By John Haltiwanger On 12/26/17 at 5:53 PM EST The decision to sell the Javelin missiles also comes not long after the Trump administration approved a limited weapons sale between American manufacturers and Ukraine of Model M107A1 sniper systems, ammunition and associated equipment...It's fired from the shoulder and tracks targets via infrared (heat signature). Instead of targeting the front or sides of tanks, which are thick with armor, the missile flies in an arc and hits the top of tank where the armor is weak.. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko defended the move in a Facebook post, thanking President Donald Trump for his support. Poroshenko further described the arms sale as "a transatlantic vaccination against the Russian virus of aggression." - https://www.newsweek.com/trump-tank-killing-missile-fight-russia-ukraine-759745
And as reported by abcnews.go.com om Dec. 23, 2020,
"Previously, as reported by ABC News – Breaking News, Latest News, Headlines & Videos om Dec. 23, 2020, "Trump admin approves new sale of anti-tank weapons to Ukraine.." The new package included Javelin anti-tank weapons, 150 missiles and two launchers, which came after a first sale, completed in March 2018, which included 210 Javelin missiles and 37 launch units.. "The Trump administration first approved the sale of Javelins to Ukraine in December 2017 -- a step that former President Barack Obama never took.... ..
And when procurement costs are taken into consideration (how much it cost for training and materials in respective countries relative to what they spend), then despite having far less to defend, the US military budget in 2019 is not larger than the next eleven countries. Rather it is smaller than the next three.

, “NATO countries will be destroyed by Russia in half-an-hour.”
Just like the Ukrainians would welcome Russians. Maybe like how you would roll over Ukraine in 72 hours. Perhaps how hard your soldiers would fight. Like how you had 8000 tanks 12000 personnel carriers.
These people don’t know how incompetent they are, what they don’t know is more important than what they are certain of. They have yet to have a stealth fighter, when the US first flew production models in the 1970’s. Their tanks just kill there crews like a jack in the box. Shut up dear Russian space expert, because I no longer fear your rhetoric when it comes to nukes. Wake me up when you win the war in tiny Ukraine……
👍👍👍👍👍
Sorry: I did not mean "contrary to you" in the above pasted post, as instead that was originally to a proPutin poster.
Getting in a nuclear war with Russia is stupid enough to be worthy of Biden. That said, no Russian should be touting any military skill at this juncture.
Just put one up. Col MacGregor-debunking Ukrain.
WAIT FOR IT!!! I can hear the heads starting to explode.
Two years ago my sister said Trump was going to get us in a nuclear war with China.
I haven’t talk to her since.
I think I mentioned that in my post, the point is both countries throw out nuclear threats as if the other side could’t respond l, no other country that has nukes makes issues public threats like North Korea and Russia.
As far as the number of nukes North Korea has, if they took out Seoul l, Tokyo and Washington D.C. it would be a totally different world
If Ukraine is the “whore of Babylon” ...
It’s not.
~~ THE END ~~
Earlier this year, the USAF took some of these F-117s OUT of mothballs. I wonder why?

Well better than most guesses - geez, shoot the messenger much?
Sorry. I was not attempting to do so. Just trying to be funny.
