You’d like to think so, but the result would certainly be riots, elevation of the feral to sainthood, and anyone who helped the ferals achieve room temperature, a lifetime in prison.

Michael Brown, the gentle giant, has a nice city-installed memorial where he achieved room temperature. The cop who shot him lost his job and is lucky to not be in prison.

In states, counties, or cities/towns that refuse to control crime, it becomes the responsibility of citizens to protect life, liberty, and property.

The ferals who were smashing & grabbing inside the eyewear store should have been shot by armed employees. Plausible self defense explanations could have been given.
