Some Ukrainians did try to work with their Russian occupiers to help the people in their communities.
They were shot per Zelinsky’s orders.

Some countries need to be run by the ruthless. Think Russia, Saddam, Khadafy. Traiitors should be shot.

Russia’s Grave Miscalculation: Ukrainians Would Collaborate Some are ethnic Russian, so they must all be willing to die, so that Ukraine can become Little Russia. /s

The “law of interim period” for Donbas designated firefighters and school teachers as collaborators. I think local “Americafirsters”” don’t care much.

“Once war had begun, Mr. Vilkul said, the gray area seeped out of Ukrainian politics for him. Missiles striking his hometown made the choice obvious: He would fight back.”
Reminds me of what happened in Virginia after Lincoln launched his special military operation.

Actually, most America Firsters prefer to avoid WW3. It’s the Neocons who are hell-bent on starting that war.

Probably not true, but would be great if it was. Wartime Traders and collaborants deserve to go up against the wall.

The rule of shooting trainers should be applied to these United States, starting at the top.

I used the term sarcastically, of course.

Your definition of collaborator is too vague. Why don’t kill everyone who dared to survive “occupation” while you are at it? That’s probably in line with your “European values”.

“We are part of something bright,” he said of Ukraine. “It is here, with us, in our group. And they have nothing to offer.”This. I was in Poland in the early 90s, and have spent a lot of time there since and was in Ukraine in 2016. Most Americans cannot imagine the cultural pull Europe and the US have on these people. Whatever our problems are (and they are significant), integration with the West means the possibility of freedom and a "normal" life, whereas being a part of Russia is a simply a return to a gangster state.

Reminds me of what happened in Virginia after Lincoln launched his special military operation. Except that that was a civil war, while this is a war between two sovereign nations.
