Looks like a dry track. Try as the powers that be might, they can’t escape the specter of Bob Baffert. Baffert trained two of the most live runners. My money’s on Messier.

Baffert gets his revenge...Messier wins it at 8-1....

Surround them with about 150,000 cheering fansWith horse racing in such a decline for so many years, I'm surprised this race still draws so many.

I think Kari Lake said she’d be there with the Trumps for the race.

Love horse-racing.
But I know nothing of it now.
Since they all chastised and shamed us for BLM, I haven’t watched. Last thing I really watched was Belmont ‘20.
I would love to peek at the stakes. Horses are innocent. But hard to do it without giving ratings to networks and status totracks and jockeys who bend the knee and wear “BLM” down their pants.
Never mind Johnny Wierd.

My money’s on Messier. I'll take Tabia who beat Messier in the SA derby. But with 22 horse field it's anybodies guess as who will win. A good horse can get boxed in and expend too much energy to break out of the pack

Oddly, favorites don’t win the Derby all that often. Try the second or third favorite.

Did everyone catch that Ford commercial?
I think - and my teen son did too - that Ford was taking a pot-shot at Elon Musk!
Veiled in lovely misrepresentations, too!
