Concur; Trump was one of our best presidents but he had two huge issues that hurt him badly: 1) unlike Reagan, who was the target of lies that were just as vicious, Trump always had to respond - you’ve got to laugh it off which makes the leftists even angrier; and, 2) Trump seemed to cede control over personnel to the likes of Christie and McConnell - as a consequence, Trump was undercut from Day One by disloyal snakes like Wray at FBI, Esper at DoD, and the fat clown that was named Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Based on his record as governor, I would bet DeSantis selected a lot better, more loyal people for key positions.
