My guess is she is resisting the notion of focusing primarily on her months old Baby. She doesn’t want certain women (Joy Behar) to think of her as ‘just’ a stay at home Haus Frau.
I say there is nothing wrong with being one if you can afford it. I was lucky enough to have my Mom at home throughout my grade school years and my Dad working to pay the bills.
Both parents do their part.
