The only women to NEED an abortion are those whose lives would be in danger if they didn’t have one. Everyone has the right to self-defense, even if it does kill someone else.
Every pregnancy is dangerous and comes with risk of death. Most pregnancies do irreversible changes or sometimes damage to the body.
Part of the rationale of the Roe decision is that an abortion up to a certain number of weeks is usually safer than carrying to full term and banning abortion essentially forces women to risk their lives and damage their bodies for an unborn child they don’t even want.
