A new poll found that some voters who didn't attend college also want student loan forgiveness.
The Student Borrower Protection Center (SBPC) and Data for Progress released a poll Thursday, that asked 1,110 likely voters between April 30 and May 3 about "what actions the federal government should take on student loan debt?"
Twenty-three percent of respondents who didn't go to college said the federal government should eliminate all student loan debt for every borrower. Meanwhile, 34 percent said that "some" debt should be eliminated for every borrower, and 34 percent said that any student loan debt shouldn't be eliminated at all.
Though Biden has not confirmed a final plan on how to deal with student loan forgiveness, White House Press secretary Jen Psaki on Tuesday hinted there might be a $125,000 cutoff proposal that would offer relief to millions of student loan borrowers, and also bolster the Democrats' chances ahead of the midterm elections in the fall.
The survey also revealed of those who went to college, 24 percent said the federal government should eliminate all student loan debt for everyone, while 39 percent said that some debt should be forgiven for every borrower, and 32 percent said that none of the debt should be canceled.

Title should read “LIBERAL/DEMOCRAT/LEFTIST Voters who haven’t gone to college also want student loans forgiven.”
This is fundamentally unfair. But I’m sure there will be debt forgiveness timed for the election. dems never do anything except when it will benefit the party directly. Their only goals are command and control.
...some voters who didn’t attend college also want student loan forgiveness...”
These are democrat welfare voters who think money grows on trees. They have no problem spending OTHER peoples money to pay for the loans.
Student loan forgiveness is taking the debt from someone who asked for it and giving the debt to someone who didn’t.
Although I paid off my student loans years ago I’m still lucky enough to say that both my mortgage *and* my car loan identify as student loans.
I think Margaret Thatcher put it well...”socialism works until you run out of other people’s money”.
How was the question asked.
“If you went to school, and were overburdened with student debt should you be forced to pay the money back?
Since so many people don’t pay taxes and actually get welfare check refunds, it could be true, but I doubt it. Just more fake polls to shape opinion.
The bottom feeders would only support it if they got a big payout in addition to all their current “entitlements”.
I’m against forgiving all of the student loans. I would be open to forgiving interest payments and making the student pay back the just the amount borrowed.
This alone would drive inflation up so bad. It’s scary. If they think it’s bad now, another few trillion on top would be $8+ loafs of bread real quick.
Yipee! Free money for dead beats! Let’s do credit cards next.
Lazy freeloaders unite !
...and then having the loan practice cease.
🚽
The only thing I’d change is make it bankrupt-able.
Treat Student Loan debt, just like any other debt.
Exactly.
