What would be left to govern in America after a nuclear exchange?

The entire Washington DC metro area would be gone.

The fences around government buildings won’t keep nukes from incinerating everything.

Only truly insane people would start a nuclear war.

"The entire Washington DC metro area would be gone."

When you see the rats vacate DC en masse (politicians and connected government functionaries)--and you'll get many reasons as to why--you'll know something is imminent.

Hopefully, someone has a stash of cement and explosives ready to seal the perps inside their bunkers.

“The entire Washington DC metro area would be gone.”

And the downside is ???? What red button do I push to make that happen? Do they sell them on Anazon?

Anyone that thinks their bunker is going to save them is wrong. Unless they can stay down there for several generations. Three days after the lights go out all the nuclear power plants will begin to melt down. Image a couple hundred Fukushima’d only worse since no body will be there to contain them. Hell on Earth indeed.
