Russian President Vladimir Putin apologized to Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Thursday for comments made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov who stated earlier this week that Hitler had "Jewish blood," according to the Prime Minister's Office.
Lavrov also stated that "the biggest antisemites are the Jews themselves" while attacking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is Jewish, in an interview with Italian television.
Earlier this week, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid called Lavrov's statements "unforgivable" and Bennett stated that "lies like these are meant to blame the Jews themselves for the most terrible crimes in history, which were committed against them, and thus free the oppressors of the Jews from their responsibility.”

RE: Putin apologizes to Bennett for Lavrov’s comments
So, I gather Putin’s cancer surgery was successful?
Which Russia should have done right away, instead of doubling down, and having the Russian Foreign Ministry accuse Israel of supporting "neo-Nazis" in Ukraine.
I was told he is an unreasonable madman with roid rage, cancer, and nothing to lose. Why would an unreasonable person apologize for anything?
“Putin has promised to allow the evacuation of civilians, including wounded civilians, through a UN humanitarian corridor and the Red Cross.”
Actually Leopold Frankenberger, a Jewish Austrian, was rumored to be Hitler’s grandfather for decades. A DNA study was done years ago on Hitler’s remaining relatives that did establish haplotype E1b1b presence, which is North African/Berber and present in both Ashkenazi/Sephardic Jewish populations.
Lavrov is merely repeating these well known claims. It used to be brought up routinely to show the hipocrisy of Hitler’s prejudices.
It doesn’t matter. Since Hitler himself didn’t consider himself to be “Jewish” the slightest.
Didnt Putin die?
Hitler’s father, Alois, had been born out of wedlock to Maria Anna Schicklgruber, she eventually married Johann Georg Heidler who never legitimize Alois. After Alois’ father died, In 1876, however, the brother of Johann Georg Heidler, then dead, took the necessary steps to legitimize Alois and legally change his name. Thus, records Bullock, From the beginning of 1877, 12 years before Adolf was born, his father called himself Hitler.
Alois Schicklgruber changed his name, not to Hiedler, but to Hitler.

So Adolf’s father was a bastard with an unknown father, and a mother with a last name Schicklgruber, who records show to have been catholic.
Wikipedia speculates that one of the possible fathers of Alois Schicklgruber was a jewish man called Leopold Frankenberger, as reported by ex-Nazi Hans Frank during the Nuremberg Trials.
So I don’t know what the big issue is. The grandfather of Adolf Hitler is unknown and very well could have been a jew.
It seems that the ‘fake’ indignation of the jewish people is an attempt to re-write history.
“Why would an unreasonable person apologize for anything?”
Politicians do whatever they need to do for whatever they need right now. Besides, it was an amazingly stupid thing to say, even though it supported the narrative that led Russia to invade in the first place. Chances are it was widely believed in private but when it got out in public and the world laughed, instead of doubling down the Kremlin insiders should have reexamined their beliefs. Most people lack the introspection to do that. I suspect introspection is being forced on Putin. I’d hope he’s doing his own research to see what the world is saying rather than relying on people who he trained not say things he didn’t already believe.
When I had a large department with sub departments reporting to me I told them I never wanted to hear, “Well, I knew that would happen.” If they saw a situation developing and didn’t warn me, then I’d be angry. But if they told me bad news I would never shoot the messenger. I can tell you some of them took that as license to criticize me to my face. To which my answer was, “Come to me with your suggested solutions.” But a lot of the feedback was simply venting and I’d understand why Putin wouldn’t stand for it and how it would lead to the situation he’s in now. Isolated. Lied to.
No, not yet, but Foreign Minister Lavrov may have a 'heart attack' after his stupid comment about Hitler.
I’m just asking, ok?
I’m just memeing, no problem. 😎
Interesting development.
” one of the possible fathers of Alois Schicklgruber was a jewish man called Leopold Frankenberger,”
Hitler’s mom was his maid.
The world didn't laugh. Most of the world didn't notice, and wouldn't have cared if they did.
People in the West forget, most of the world is composed of Africans, Asians, and Latin Americans. They regard European wars and genocides as "white people's issues." They have their own concerns, which are largely unknown to us.
It’s not exactly a secret that Putin has affection for Russian Jews who befriended him as a young man. Israel, home to up to 2 million Russian speakers (many of whom are not Jews), has managed a good relationship with Putin’s government.
But good relations may last only as long as Putin. Traditional Russian Jew-hate is likely to rise again.
So I can identify as Jewish even though I am not?
Vice versa?
