what choice or am I being a sperg and you’re sarcastic? Far as I know everyone was mandated in my area in hospitals. I don’t know about the boosters or what they’re doing now.
In 1776 “state” meant “nation”, nothing else. The United States is a federation of nations. The civil war did not decide that we were not a federation. It decided that states could not secede.
The Constitution was never an enumeration of all individual rights. It deals with some individual rights, but then throws in the 10th Amendment to deal with all of the others. The Constitution does not deal with abortion. Therefore, authority over abortion is reserved “to the states respectively or to the people”.
Roe v Wade trashed this constitutional premise. If Roe v Wade is simply overturned then authority over abortion will be governed by the 10th Amendment. You might not like that, but that’s how it is.
