During a nightly address on Sunday, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the congressional delegation for visiting Kyiv and affirming the U.S. commitment to helping Ukraine.

"We are grateful to all partners who convey such important and powerful signals of support for Ukraine to the world and to Russia by visiting our capital in these conditions and at such a difficult time," Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy said he and Pelosi shared "very substantive negotiations" that spanned four hours "on defense supplies, macro-financial assistance, sanctions policy, political cooperation."

The Ukrainian leader also expressed his appreciation for the Lend-Lease program, which he said could "work to strengthen our state as much as possible and help in the struggle for freedom."

"I also thanked for the preparation of a large package of aid to Ukraine worth 33 billion US dollars," he added.

she's planning to be POTUS! PELOSI in Kyiv, I told you so. Hi probability, Biden goes to care facility, Harris moved to another position or drops out https://t.co/FB7upmHIcU— Michael Savage (@ASavageNation) May 1, 2022

Was there, by any chance, a C 130 loaded with pallets of cash involved in the “negotiations”?

Remember when Trump tried to get $20b for our own security? Republicans said they didn’t have the money. Trump drops it down to $15. Still too much. Then he said he could get it done for $8b. $12b tops. Nope, no can do. We’ll get the courts involved or impeach you.

Meanwhile, the president has been checking his messages.
Still no return calls from his new pal, Mrs. Easter Bunny. How rude!

But it’s all good as long as the money and support goes to Zelensky.

Can’t do that. The politicians are making too much dirty money from it. When it gets to where the politicians are not making any dirty money.... perhaps.

Supporting Ukraine in this fight puts you in bed with Pelosi, Schiff and the other Democrat liars/criminals.

You want these people in your foxhole?

I can’t believe all of those posting on FR who are rushing to fight for Zelensky, the comedian/actor.

This is NOT our fight. America needs to stay out of this fight. The Democrats are frantically trying to save their Ukrainian “piggy bank” so they can keep getting their kickbacks.

Here we go again...:-(

A draft resolution authorizing the sending of US troops to Ukr has been submitted to the Congress.

“I don’t think we need to send troops to Ukraine now. I just submitted a document authorizing the use of the army,” Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger said, adding that the bill would not oblige Biden to anything, but would give him “more flexibility.”

“This will give the president such an opportunity if nuclear, chemical or biological weapons are used in Ukraine,” Kissinger summed up.”
