I’m 88% Celtic. Not a drop of Russian blood in my body, so I don’t know who you’re addressing your post to.

I’ve just learned over the years not to fall for whatever the mainstream news is selling without doing my homework first. In my research, I learned about the horrendous treatment the Ukrainians living in the Donbass were forced to endure for 8 years by the Azov Battalion of the Ukrainian Army. It turned my stomach and made me see this war through different eyes.

My conclusion is that the Ukrainians are no better than the Russians. I’m not rooting for either side and just want the death and destruction to stop. That’s where we differ. You obviously believe Ukraine actually has a chance to win. 🤣

It doesn’t matter how good or bad the Ukrainians are.

It doesn’t matter whether the support for Ukraine prevents Russia from eventually seizing part or all of Ukraine.

Only a moron would think Russia will stop if they prevail in this current push. They will turn next to all other non-NATO countries, while trying to weaken NATO members.

The only thing that will stop Russia is to bleed its military capabilities until it can no longer sustain operations outside its borders.

There’s a slim chance that when Putin dies, the next guy might be persuaded to line his pockets by pursuing economic reconciliation. But unless that miracle happens, the least worst option is to finance and arm anyone willing to fight Putin.

So then if you don’t care about either side, just ignore the posts.

No need to be pro Putin

“That’s where we differ. You obviously believe Ukraine actually has a chance to win.”

More to the point I believe the Russians are embracing every opportunity to lose. They started this war holding all the cards and they’ve fallen short at every single move.

Frankly, I was one of the people who initially expected this to be over in less than a week. Instead the Ukies surprised everyone and they applied the training they’ve been getting from NATO which itself turned out to be an unexpected force multiplier.

No one was sending them support until the Ukies proved the support would go to good use killing Russian invaders.

Now the Ukrainians are favored to end this war by recovering 100% of their lands from prior to 2014.

Russia’s window of opportunity to win this war is over.
