It’s a pleasure to honor these great heroes.
Awww…Peaches look so pretty by those blooms. 😻
Thanks. He’s handsome and he knows it. LOL! Do you still have a kitty?
Yes! I have my handsome meezer, Mićko (Meesh-ko.) I adopted him a few years ago from a friend whose job promotion had her traveling all but 3 to 5 days a month.
He is a very affectionate and sweet Siamese and is quite a dashing boy. ♥️
Oh, I think I’ve seen picures of his handsome self. I’m glad he’s still with you!
Good evening, radu...hope your feetsies and back are rested.
I got all sorts of things done today. I got several family size meat packages from Costco and finally got them all divided up and wrapped up and into the freezer. And I got some good stuff done for work.
Did you get some shopping done? How’s your car?
WOOHOO!!! R&R!! You and Mrs Mayor enjoy your time away from work.
That’s a nice, big potful of mums. I can see why you’re happy they survived.
Peaches sure is a handsome feller.
Peaches IS a pretty boy, isn’t he?
How are things with you these days, Allegra? Have you dealt with any of the storms rumbling through TX tonight?
Hey there, Kathy.
Da feetsies are still a bit unhappy today. Da back is always cranky. LOL But we survive.
It sounds like you had a very productive day. I hope the stuff you got done for work helps make things less hectic tomorrow.
I just made a quick store run this afternoon. The car is still being worked on and I don’t like doing big shopping with the truck. It’s easier getting groceries in and out of the back of the station wagon.
Maybe he’ll have it running again tomorrow.
How's everyone doing this morning?
He sure is. And he’s a good boy, too.
I would have been unhappy if those mums hadn’t come back to life. I’m so bad at killing the plants. LOL!
How are you liking it there so far?
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Did you and Gizmo have a better outing yesterday or was it still smoky?
Did any of tonight’s storms hit your area and send poor Gizmo under the bed?
He KNOWS he’s a good lookin’ feller too.
A little watering goes a long way to keep plants alive. LOL Even during winter, though they don’t need as much then.
I got the two smaller plants moved and watered. They were ready for a drink because prefer to move them when the soil’s dry. They’re lighter.
I need to get the other two moved soon. They’re succulents and can handle being dry a little longer but it’s about time. They aren’t happy at the moment.
I hope you can get them moved soon so they don’t just shrivel up. You’ve probably nursed them for quite a while.
I have new pads coming out on my poor bedraggled prickly pear cactus. I was shocked. There are parts of it that need to be taken away because they are truly dead, but I have to figure a way so I don’t get stuck by their spines. I guess there’s hope for grampa cactus yet. LOL!
I think I’ll finish this show and then head to the barn. I’m really tired tonight. The warmer it gets, the less energy I have. See ya tomorrow!
They’ll be fine. I gave them a little water not long ago to tide them over. They’ll get a good soak with plant food mixed in once I move them and will be good to go for a while.
They aren’t the most attractive plants but their blooms are huge and stunning.
Get pliers to grip the dead pads on your cactus, then snip them off. No getting stuck by the spines.
Have they ever produced fruit? Prickly pears are delicious.
Get a good night’s sleep. Catch ya tomorrow.
The storms have quieted down here for now. There is some activity up in NW OK but none here.
We had a great KFC supper yesterday.
And, had a great time at Comanche Lake yesterday:
We'll see how things go today. We have a chance of storms in the forecast for today and tonight.
Glad you were able to have a good time yesterday. It looks like y’all covered quite a bit of ground.
I figured Gizmo didn’t have a good night when I checked the radar earlier. I reckon there’ll be a series of systems coming through all week. We have chances for rain and storms too.
At least it looks like you’ll have good weather for your outing later today.
