Our slaves in India in the tech sector (white collar slaves)
Or the blue collar slaves (illegals) whom we know are illegal, are dependent on in certain industries, and keep in their status because it serves the bottom line.
This nation has “always” been about greed.
This nation has one god: mammon.
You will find very moral people in the US. You will find very benevolent people in the US. But as a nation, we have always only been about making $$$, past and present.
The rest is just bullshit that is about as goofy as a belief in the tooth-fairy. These are causes to get people to rally around. People need to feel like they are justified, the good guys, as if there is a righteous purpose.
If you just come out as say the truth, “we like Saudi Arabia because they buy $200 billion of our weapons in 10 years and are one of the worlds biggest oil producers and listen to us,” that doesn't sound noble, does it? That doesn't sound like we have a just cause or some moral high ground, does it?
